BIO
I'm a London-based cinematographer working internationally across film, television drama, commercials, fashion and music.

I've been profiled in British Cinematographer magazine's 'Meet The New Wave', while my work has been featured in American Cinematographer and Cinematography World. I've won the Kodak Vision Award for Best Cinematography and shot award-winning commercials and music videos.

NOTES
Working recently with director Sophie Edelstein and Black Dog, I shot the music video for actress and singer-songwriter SUKI WATERHOUSE. Depicted in colour and black + white, the film features an incredible performance by Suki set within both intimate and architectural lighting.

Recent television work includes episodes seven and eight of Sky’s hit action-thriller THE LAZARUS PROJECT which I lit for director Sean Spencer. Returning for its second season and streaming now, the series centres around a secret government organisation as it seeks to avert mass extinction events by reversing time.

Released in the autumn of 2023 - EVERYTHING NOW, produced by Left Bank Pictures for Netflix. I shot episodes five and six of the series with director Dionne Edwards. The show follows 17-year-old Mia after she’s released from a lengthy spell in hospital and rejoins her friends to catch up on the highs and lows of sixth form life.

Current commercial projects include CHANEL for Youness Benali [The Sweetshop], GOOGLE with Robert Nylund [Hungry Man], ALDI for Austen Humphries [Rattling Stick] and KIA with Cris Mudge [News UK].

In 2020 I shot THE SCORE for writer/ director Malachi Smyth, which was released across the UK, US and streaming platforms worldwide. This dramatic heist-thriller and offbeat romance starring Johnny Flynn, Will Poulter and Naomi Ackie also featured at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.

Shot for director Pierre Monnard in 2019, PLATZSPITZBABY quickly became one of the most successful Swiss films of all time. Set against the heroin epidemic of 1990s Zurich, the film is inspired by Michelle Halbheer's best-selling biography documenting a turbulent childhood caring for her drug-dependent mother. Following a wider international release, it continues to receive acclaim from both critics and audience.

After its premiere at the 2020 Glasgow Film Festival, BODY OF WATER was released to critical praise in cinemas and across streaming platforms. Written and directed by Lucy Brydon, this BFI/ BBC Films/ Lions Den feature examines the impact of a woman’s eating disorder upon her family life. We shot the film in London, Seaford and Canvey Island.
